BLAAAAA Face!!!
just thought to post some pics taken while traveling thru cambodia, i have a countless number of photos so here are just a few more....
kona camping.........
i have spent the last 2 days and 2 nites camping beachside here on kona, the island is so different than oahu. as you fly in you see the 1801 lava flow which the airport is built on top of. from sea to the moutain the flow is everwhere. we spent the past to days exploring the lands and just relaxing in paradise on remote beaches. with a perfect bay view from my tent i woke to find 3 sea turtles on the shore as i enter the water for my morning swim, a short walk around the point and on the horizon a whale breaches and splashes as it makes its way past the island. the waters here are just filled with life and its a unique expereince to encounter all this in just the waking moments of a new day.
Big Island..............
after being a sand baby and living on the beaches for the past week, today we catch an outter island flight to the big island and head to the bush. going to see kev and lisa and camp for a few days, fresh water pools, nice beaches, clear water and back to what i know best, camping lifestyle.
will post some pics when i return, 4 days or so.............
sandy beach................
took a lil ride down to the east side yesterday, sandy beach chopped up and neck breakin
Fiji.............
still alive, 7 countries later, and having the time of our lives
the colors of the entire sky at sunset were very different than anywhere else we had previously been, noah and i taken it all in
another day, another fiji sunset, off the rooftop of nadi bay resort
Caption Cook Cruise, this is our 110ft. sail boat we had for the day, with this vessel we made our way past countless islands till we found.....
a very small piece of Paradise, this island was so small that i could walk the beach around in about 10 minutes, only thing on the island was massage room and barbecue area
the name says it all
in fiji there are so many tiny islands everywhere, just perfect shaped circles, white sand beaches and swaying palm trees. just before leaving with a few clouds moving overhead we escaped the day with no rains
in the distance you can see the storm as it makes its way across another small island
Makara beach.............
so i am tryin to catch up on time missed, just a few pics from a trek just outside the port city of wellington, nothern island new zealand.....
basically i just walked off following the watersedge until i found the highest mountain in the nearby area, from here i began to accend upward until this spot was reached
here in the hillside, a bunker from WWII can be seen, upper right corner of photo
another bunker from WWII
same bunker, view from within
hiding here from the sun after a long hike
screamin freedom worldwide
stoppin to take in the view before the long hike back down
where should this email begin and how ever could it end, this life changing trip has helped me understand so much more about myself. just truly a blessed individual in so many ways and thankful each day that i have had this chance, this dream that finally became a reality. so as the itenerary goes, i am off tomorrow and heading for fiji, this is in the physical form but mentally i can and never will leave new zealand, this has been the most impressive and nonforgetting stop within all my travels across the globe. i know i will come to this country again, i have to, how can you leave something you love so much, but as everything in life, nothing can stay the same forever and we must always move on in times when we wish things could always be.
we have had the most extreme of all weathers, but here on the north island the weather has been so nice, dodging the rain by day and gettin a lil shower ever so often during the nites. after sleeping in the car and camping almost all the 30 days we have been here it will b nice to get to a room in fiji settle in for a bit and just relect on all that has been. when you travel and see new things every single day its hard to really understand what has been the biggest impact on you, or what has even really happened, just a overflow of everything thats new and that is why i believe i love traveling. its when we get home, we stop, that we begin to completly understand everything that has just happen.
i have so many things that are so uncertain when returning from a trip as this and the only thing that can tell my story will be time. i hope to keep my dreams of traveling alive but i also need to try and focus on some kind of career move, whatever it be. it seems like forever since i was living the daily life where each day you know what the next day holds, thou it was only months ago it seems like years ago.
leaving new zealand
well new zealand is almost over as we must catch a flight tomorrow and fly out to fiji
beachside living
after camping beach side under the lighthouse on the cape i think
today we may began to travel north again. our camping spot was one of
the best to date, behind us rising to the heavens a volcano stretches
into the clouds, above as i said the light house and out front a
perfect wave. this stretch of coast is called the sufers highway and
we scored yesterday the best surf of this trip since indo. a perfect
right peeling off a rock face that just held a face for 100+ yards,
was a good time to get back into the water.
will b moving on heading toward the inner part of the island before
making our way back to the west coast finding auckland where i fly out
of on feb 15.
