Ernesto will kick up the waves along the coasts of South and North Carolina; rising between 15 to 25 feet. Some beach erosion is possible all the way to southeast Virginia by tonight. With the restrengthening of Ernesto, strong winds will also create scattered power outages across eastern North Carolina and along the northern coast of South Carolina.
